Summary

Engineering work that moves from model to hardware.

I am a mechanical engineering graduate from the University of Illinois Chicago focused on robotics, simulation, CAD, HVAC analysis, controls, and data-driven modeling. My favorite projects sit in the messy middle: a mechanism has to be modeled, built, debugged, and explained clearly enough for other engineers to trust it.

Experience

Experience, applied.

1

Pentagon Robot - Five-Bar Pick-and-Place Automation

UIC Department of Mechanical Engineering / August 2025 - May 2026

Designed and fabricated a low-cost parallel robotic system for ping-pong ball transfer, using SolidWorks, ROS 2/RViz2, Raspberry Pi 4, Arduino, and CNC Shield stepper control.

2

Microscopy Image Classification Using Machine Learning

Spring 2026

Developed a Python classification workflow for 2,079 COMI BPAEC microscopy images, comparing Random Forest with PCA, a custom CNN, and ResNet18 transfer learning.

3

Residential HVAC Heating and Cooling Load Analysis

Spring 2026

Built an Excel-based HVAC load model for a 1,000 ft2 Chicago residence, calculating envelope, infiltration, solar, sol-air, and CTS/RTS cooling response loads.

4

Computer Specialist

UIC College of Nursing / January 2023 - May 2026

Deployed and configured 200+ laptops and desktops with Microsoft Intune, supported 100+ users across networking, VPN, software, printer, and classroom AV issues, and helped reduce recurring critical failures.
